Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
On Sunday, June 4th, the Sunday school children held a lemonade stand after the 10:00 service to support the “Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation”. With the support of the congregation and the community, $250 was raised for research towards curing Childhood Cancer!
OperationChristmas Child Shoeboxes
Through Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan’s Purse is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with millions of boys and girls in more than 100 countries each year. Many of these children have never before received a present or heard the true meaning of Christmas. Each year, Holy Nativity delivers 50 shoeboxes to less-fortunate children around the world. The journey of a gift-filled shoebox does not end when it arrives to a child across the world. In fact, that’s when it only begins. As thousands of churches across the country are packing Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts.
As a parish, we seek to act in response to Christ’s words, “Whatever you do for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you do for me.” Each of us serves those in need who work and live beyond the physical borders of the church and its grounds, through our church and as individuals. Some of our ongoing ministries and organizations we help to support are:
Weymouth Food Pantry, Weymouth Youth & Family Services, Operation Christmas Child, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Sock and Coat Drive and providing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless in Boston through “Billy’s Caring Hands”, and Free Monthly Community Church Dinners.

Weymouth Food Pantry
In addition to financial support, donations of items for the food pantry are collected here the first Sunday of each month, which are then delivered to the Weymouth Food Pantry. You can get more information on the organization on their website, www.weymouthfoodpantry.org/
Weymouth Youth and Family Services
The Church of the Holy Nativity partners with Weymouth Youth and Family Services to support local families during difficult times. Annually, we adopt several local families and provide Christmas gifts. We receive wish lists from family members and our congregation purchases whatever they can - anything from toys. sports gear or clothes to gifts cards. The gifts are then wrapped and delivered to Weymouth Youth and Family Services for distribution.
