Pentecost Sunday 2021

Earth Day 2021

The church had a Sock Drive during the month of January and collected approximately 300 pairs of socks! They were also able to collect 74 pairs of gloves & mittens. These items were given to a church in Boston where they were distributed to homeless people on the Boston Common, some other Boston homeless communities and to homeless people on the South Shore.

Reverse Trick or Treat with Sunday School Kids

Celebrating 50 Years!

As we pray and sing to and with the Lord every Sunday during this Pentecost season, please note that the Altar is adorned with a new and beautiful super frontal with accompanying pieces covering the pulpit and ambo.

This super frontal set was given by the Altar Guild and the Parish in thanksgiving of the fifty (50) years of dedicated service by our beloved Dale Critchley (try and remember our parish is 103 years old which means Dale has been a member of the Altar Guild for one half of this parish’s life).

Weymouth Cultural Council Concerts

The Cultural Council is responsible for the distribution of Mass Cultural Council funds locally to promote and encourage community-based programs in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences. The Church of the Holy Nativity prepares and submits applications each year for grant eligible cultural programs.  Using this grant money, a wide variety of concerts are presented free to the community. As you can see from the photos, programs can be vocal or instrumental, covering many genres of music.

Watch the calendar and newsletter available on the website for information on upcoming concerts as it becomes available.
