Parish Groups

Holly Fair Committee: Each November, Holy Nativity presents its Holly Fair, known for its crafts, food items, Silent Auctions, and raffles among other attractions.The Christmas Table draws crowds, as do tables for fudge, baked-goods, the Country Store, hand-made and antique jewelry, and a host of other delights.The Friday-to-Saturday weekend draws to a close on Saturday evening with our legendary roast-beef dinner.

Knitwits: meet Saturdays at 10 a.m.Those attending sit and share as members knit and practice and share other skills with yarns and cloths.All are invited, regardless of skill (or non-skill) level.

Yoga classes: meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. in the Asher-Stoddard Hall.The cost per class is $10.

Women’s Guild/Lunch Bunch: This time-honored group now holds events several times a year and links events with Guilds in neighboring parishes.

Evening-Women’s-Group: meets on the second Wednesdays of non-summer months, at 7:30 p.m.A presentation is offered, intertwined with discussion and laughter.All women are welcome, regardless of faith affiliation.

Men’s Spiritual-Discussion Group: meets at 7:30 p.m. on third Tuesdays of each month.Men take turns choosing topics and leading discussions.All men are welcome, regardless of faith affiliation.

Study Groups: From Focus groups about current aspects of the Episcopal Church, to studying books of the Bible, and to groups sharing food and meditating throughout Lent, Holy Nativity’s studying is varied and welcoming to all.The groups offer information and discussion in a non-confrontational manner.They generally take place on Tuesday evenings.

New-comer groups: These meet from time to time, both during days and in evenings to help newcomers (and some long-time members) understand more about the tenets of the Episcopal Church, and the traditions and liturgies of Anglicanism and of Holy Nativity.

Fun evenings: include dinners and music, dinners and laughter, and other variations on fun groups around dinner-times, usually on Saturday evenings.

Garden Angels: take care of the needs of flowers, bushes, trees, and other beautiful, outside adornments of Holy Nativity.With the help of the Sexton, members weed, water, trim, and take other necessary measures to keep our church looking its best.

Communicators: meet on most first Mondays of each month at 7 p.m.They seek to keep the website current and to disseminate information about Holy-Nativity activities.
